Montana Treehouse Retreat in the Winter

We had the pleasure of hosting social media influencer and photographer Josh Steele ( @outofthewoods) and his family back to Montana Treehouse Retreat this winter to experience both The Raven’s Nest Treehouse and The Meadowlark Treehouse in the snow. He visited The Beverly Boat back in the fall, but got to see our property covered in a blanket of pure white snow this January. Each season holds its own unique feeling here at Montana Treehouse Retreat.

If you are looking for a cozy secluded place to spend time with your family and loved ones, look no further! The winter months are a slower pace in Montana. You can expect snow and a cozy interior. Take some time with your family, friends and loved ones and spend time inside reading next to the fire, our sledding outside on the property. Within 15 minutes, you can be to the top of Whitefish Mountain Resort or an hour away, you can visit a smaller ski resort, Blacktail Mountain. Glacier National Park is a 20 minute drive to the West Glacier Park entrance for xc skiing, snow shoeing, or just taking in a beautiful winter scenic drive and photos at Lake McDonald. There is something for everyone at the treehouses.

Kennedy & Austin's 4/20 Meadowlark Treehouse & Glacier National Park Elopement

April 20, 2024 will go down as one of the most beautiful Montana April days. The sunshine came out to greet our guests Kennedy and Austin for their wedding day. The weather cooperated, making the reflections across Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park the most serene backdrop for an elopement.

“I want To elope in Montana, but i don’t know where to go!”

Kennedy and Austin teamed up with the wonderful women of Elope Montana and had a magically private elopement in the park. The Meadowlark Treehouse at the Montana Treehouse Retreat served as the perfect home base for the couple to get ready, take photos before the wedding and come home to the most romantic forest honeymoon after such a special day. Congratulations Kennedy and Austin!

Lauren + Jared's New Years Day Elopement

Lauren and Jared wanted to kick off 2023 right! What better way to ring in the New Year than to become husband and wife in Montana, with the base camp of a luxury treehouse? The Meadowlark Treehouse served as the cozy nest for the couple to get ready, take photos and eventually land back and honeymoon retreat after a very private ceremony in Glacier National Park on the banks of Lake McDonald. We teamed up with our friends at Elope Montana and local musicians Tin Finley for a very special live musical performance for their first look as Lauren walked down the Meadowlark Treehouse grand spiral wood staircase.
